If you know what a GeTai is, then you will know how good it is. If you know how good it is, then you will know that you only get to watch it during the 7th month of the lunar calendar. To be precise, it is to be shown to the 'people'(if you know what i mean), as well as to us. Been to some GeTai in Ang Mo Kio and Thomson with my dad. Yesterday went to Serangoon Hills Eating House to watch it. The host was our famous actoress of 881, Liu Ling Ling. She was damn funny, teasing other people from the audience and the singers as well. Wherever GeTai you go, you will definitely here this song, Sar Ho Ma Mi, whcih means 3rd mother. Funny song but this sing is to in memory of our famous and well known stage singer, Chen Jinlang. Well, if you haven't watch GeTai, do buy a newspaper, prefably Wan Bao, find a GeTai near your area, and watch it. I know that they speak in hokkien, but sometimes they will speak in chinese. So those haven't watch it, go take a look. haha...
